Web And Communications

Web & Communication Committee is responsible for creating and maintaining a web presence for the LCI and for developing and promoting web tools to encourage and facilitate active networking among LCI members. A public LCI website provides a central resource for information pertaining to Learning Communities in medical and health-science schools. This public site displays the Mission, Vision, and Values of the LCI and describes the governance structure and working groups. In addition, this site freely disseminates archived educational materials presented at past LCI Annual Meetings, maintains an interactive listing of medical and health-sciences schools with Learning Communities, and provides contact information to enable students and faculty to communicate with LCI members, to register to attend LCI Annual meetings, and to join the LCI in the membership category most appropriate to the needs and resources of the individual. A private LCI website is available to all members by the subscription received upon joining the LCI. This members website provides many web communication resources to LCI members including blogs, forums, polls, and private communications among members engaged in activity of LCI committees and working groups. If you would like to participate in the work of this committee, contact one of the co-chairs.
